Every one of Schlage's L-Series locks meets ANSI Grade 1 standards for safety.

Classroom Security Lock with Deadbolt: The latchbolt retracts from either side with a turn of the lever. The deadbolt is thrown and retracted by use of a key from either side. Throwing the deadbolt locks the exterior lever. Turning the interior lever unlocks both sides. The inside lever is always free for immediate egress.

Schlage's L9000 Series locks are ideal for use in schools, hospitals and factories, where the finest hardware must also deliver consistent, dependable operation and stand up to constant use and abuse.
