Every one of Schlage's L-Series locks meets ANSI Grade 1 standards for safety.

Storeroom / Utility Lock with Deadbolt: The latchbolt is retracted by the use of the lever from either side. The deadbolt is thrown and retracted by the use of the key from either side.
